Do you have (or have you already) contacts w/ McEntees there? I don't have 1st clue how to find them except for a town...what have you got for The Old Sod???
I sent each family, both the Farraghers and McEntees both letters back in late April, giving them our window (and best guess) as to when we'd be making our appearance. I can tell you that I informed them we'd call shortly after arriving in Ireland.
Knowing the towns and addresses of our relatives, will make it easy to track them down. I do believe the Farraghers sent me a phone number with their latest Christmas card.
I also printed out 2 seperate family trees, so if they host a picnic or some family get together in our honor, we'll have something to point at and show how we are related.
Our two main contact people for each clan are Jimmy Farragher who lives just outside Cong & for the McEntee's it would be Maura Rafferty. (Formerly a McEntee) Both families can point us to the ruins of their respective homesteads. Both families still own the very farms our ancestors worked on.
